2015 Honda Civic Type R Next-Gen CR-Z Release Date - Salt Shaker at the ready, boys and girls. There were rumors of Australia claimed the next Honda CR-Z will be wqzxc based on the upcoming 276-horsepower, turbocharged Civic Type R. Apparently Honda's research and development officials have been unnerved by the acceptance of Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ twins and are eager to return fire.

Now, do not get too excited - Honda does not follow the model of Volkswagen offers mechanical virtually unchanged in different bodyshell (Beetle Turbo and GTI, for example). Instead, wqzxc the report says the future of the CR-Z hybrid powertrain will maintain, though with a serious kick in the pants. A prototype is said to have been zipping around Japan with a turbocharged, direct-injected, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and electric motor current and battery CR-Z. With a reported 221 horsepower mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission (say buh-bye to the CVT and six-speed manual) and the next-gen Civic Platform bottom, the CR-Z is rumored to have all the makings of a riot hot hatch.
Of course, all of this sounds wonderful. This is also the point where you have to enjoy the salt. We really liked the idea of a really hot CR-Z that can compete wqzxc with the Mini John Cooper Works models and the new Ford Fiesta ST, but the three-door hybrid has such a slow seller for Honda in the U.S. who may not pitch the second generation here, no matter how good it might be.
