Despite lower output, Chevy hopes Z/28 will be quicker than the ZL1 around the Nürburgring, wqzxc which draw 7:41:27 lap time. In fact, the new Z/28 has scored impressive results, as 3 seconds faster than the ZL1 in the GM test track.
As a tribute to the original Z/28, this new model is offered only with a manual transmission Tremec TR6060 which transmit engine power to the rear wheels.
New Z/28 Camaro is powered by a naturally aspirated 7.0-liter LS7 V-8 engine with an output of 500 horsepower and 470 pounds-feet of torque. wqzxc As you can see, this output is not as impressive as that offered by the 580-horsepower ZL1, but Chevrolet worked hard to create a lightweight Z/28.
